The SinoCleansky CNG MRU (Mobile Refueling Unit) is a skid-mounted CNG substation solution specifically designed for areas without pipelines.
The unit integrates a hydraulically driven compressor, gas storage cylinders, dispenser, unloading columns, an explosion-proof PLC control cabinet, and soundproof enclosures into a 20GP skid frame. When paired with the SinoCleansky CNG tube trailer (Jumbo Tube Trailer), it forms a complete “virtual pipeline” refueling chain.

Powered by hydraulic drive, oil-free lubrication, and fully automatic PLC control, the system incorporates core technologies such as vector frequency conversion, complete separation of oil and gas, and vector plunger pumps, offering significant advantages in energy efficiency, gas loss reduction, noise suppression, and maintenance.
- Recover “wasted” trailer gas: trailers arrive at 3~25 MPa; the substation compressor re-pressurizes to 25 MPa, lifting gas utilization by over 30%.

包装与运输
It is recommended to use 20-foot open-top containers.
- Fixing and Protection: The bottom of the lever body is equipped with lifting/fixed holes. Before shipping, it needs to be firmly fixed to the bottom plate of the container using straps or brackets; external devices such as gas filling machines and gas discharge columns need to be packed in separate wooden boxes and fixed
- Rainproof and Moistureproof: The equipment has undergone rainproof treatment before leaving the factory. For shipping, it is recommended to wrap additional waterproof films and place desiccants inside the container.
- Hydraulic Oil: The hydraulic system was filled with oil at the factory. Before transportation, make sure all valves are closed and there is no leakage; for low-temperature routes, confirm that the hydraulic oil grade is compatible.
- Static Sound Box Top Plate: If the top plate needs to be removed due to the height limit inside the container, it should be packaged separately and labeled. After arrival, reinstall it.
- On-site checking: After the equipment arrives, check the appearance, fasteners, and instruments to ensure they are in good condition. Position, connect. Before power on, guidance should be completed by SinoCleansky’s engineer.

A conventional station requires on-site civil works, scattered equipment installation and a 6–12 month commissioning period.
An MRU (Mobile Refueling Unit) integrates all equipment — compressor, storage, dispensing, control and discharge — onto a 20ft/40ft container-sized skid that is pre-assembled and tested at the factory and operational within 72 hours on site. It can also be disassembled and redeployed elsewhere, making it ideal for temporary, emergency or pipeline-free locations.
The hydraulic drive, the mainstream choice for daughter stations, beats mechanical compressors on five fronts:
① 50% lower energy use: approx. 0.03 kWh/Nm³ vs. 0.064 kWh/Nm³;
② Zero inlet gas waste: leakage 90 dB, so it can be sited near residential areas;
④ Maintenance-free operation: only piston rings and O-rings — no valve plates or connecting rods;
⑤ About 10% lower total investment: a slightly higher unit price, but fewer auxiliaries and a longer service life.
One limitation: hydraulic drives are designed for daughter stations (inlet pressure above 3 MPa), not mother or standard stations.
The hydraulic design keeps maintenance to a minimum:
· Daily: confirm pressure, temperature, oil level and gas-leak alarms;
· Monthly: clean filters, check oil level, review PLC alarm logs;
· Quarterly: inspect oil/gas seals and O-rings;
· Yearly: oil sample analysis, valve calibration and safety-valve testing.
All consumables are standard parts — piston rings, O-rings, seals and filter cartridges — readily available on the market, with no dependency on the OEM.
The MRU is a modular integrated design, with a production cycle of 30 to 60 days. After being delivered by sea, on-site only the basic positioning, gas source connection, power supply connection and communication debugging need to be completed. Usually, it can be put into operation within a few days, which is much faster than traditional civil construction gas stations. The specific delivery period depends on the customized requirements of the model and the sea transportation voyage. You can contact the sales team for confirmation.
Sure. The MRU can be disassembled on-site and then reassembled and transported either in a 20ft open-top container or by truck for sea or land transportation. After moving to the next location, reassemble and activate it under the guidance of SinoCleansky engineers.
The MRU itself integrates compression, gas storage, gas filling and control systems. Once connected and powered on, it can start operating. On the gas source side, it needs to be combined with a CNG tube trailer for gas supply. That is, “the tube trailer unloads gas → the MRU compresses and stores the gas → the refueling machine refills the vehicle with gas” – a complete chain. SinoCleansky can provide an overall solution including both the tube trailer and the MRU.
